Daniel Treinen

Daniel Treinen, AIA, LEED AP, is a Registered Architect and LEED AP with over 15 years of professional experience.  Prior to joining Aventur, he worked for 11 years as Senior Designer and Project Architect for Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates in New York City.  

While at KPF, Mr. Treinen had the opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile, large-scale building projects in the US and Asia, including high-rise office/residential;  mixed-use retail;  museums;  convention centers; and K-12 Education.  Also, while with KPF, Mr. Treinen lived and worked in South Korea for three years, coordinating multiple projects for the Songdo International Business Development in Incheon, Korea.
 
Prior to joining KPF, Mr. Treinen was a designer at The Leonard Parker Associates [currently PDI World Group] in Minneapolis, MN, where he was part of the design team for the Eul Chi-Ro Redevelopment Project in Seoul, Korea, as well as a number of civic and government projects in the US.
 
After receiving his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Kansas State University in 1992, Mr. Treinen served two years as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in the Republic of Moldova [former USSR], where his passion for working internationally originated.  While in the Peace Corps, he worked as an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at Moldova Technical University in Chisinau, the capitol.
