Chadwick K-12 School

As part of the KPF team, Daniel Treinen served as On-Site Design/Construction coordinator for this state-of-the-art school, the centerpiece of one of the two main residential neighborhoods in New Songdo City.The campus was configured as 3 distinct individual building elements:  an Elementary School;  a High School;  and Facilities Building, accommodating an Olympic sized competitive pool, 2 gymnasiums, and performing and fine-arts spaces.   These elements are linked together by a series of courtyards, taking inspiration from traditional Korean palace and garden design.
